1 Zoro

Zoro Homepage

Zoro isn’t strictly an automotive supplier—it caters to several different industries, including manufacturing and building contractors.

But they do stock 3 million products, including OEM auto and truck parts, compressors, air tanks, and a whole range of power tools and safety equipment.

This makes them an ideal supplier for petrol heads who want to buy products from leading brands like Stanley, Mobil, Weld-Aid, and Baldwin.

But without paying franchise store prices.

Anyone with even a passing interest in auto maintenance, body shop work, or rebuilds will find lots of stuff in the Zoro store they’d be happy to spend cash on.

One word of caution is that because this is not a specialized store, you’ll need to use direct product links rather than just dumping traffic on their homepage.

Your conversions will suffer if you don’t.

Affiliate publishers make 4% on everything they sell, and the high EPC indicates a pretty significant average order value (AOV) per customer.

Also, remember that Zoro’s affiliate manager is more than happy to talk with a top-performing affiliate.

Which basically means paying you a higher commission rate because you’re moving more product for them.

2 EZ Battery Reconditioning

EZ Battery Reconditioning Homepage

You’ve probably already guessed that EZ Battery Reconditioning helps consumers revive old batteries, right?

If not…well….that’s what this product is about- bringing dead batteries back to life

The creator of EZ Battery Reconditioning, Tom Ericson, came across this method by accident.

Well, it was more a case of necessity being the mother of invention.

He had a choice between buying a new battery or groceries for his kids.

So he taught himself how to recondition his old battery instead.

You can follow his method to recondition laptops, cars, motorcycles, yachts, and even certain smartphone batteries at home.

So the first benefit for anyone buying this product is they don’t have to buy a new battery, which can cost up to $200 for an average car.

Another angle to take here is that reconditioning batteries is also environmentally friendly because less lithium needs to be mined, for example.

This is one of the top-performing products on ClickBank right now, paying affiliates between $51 and $148 per sale.

That higher commission rate will depend on what backend offers your visitors sign up for.

EZ Battery Reconditioning also claims to have a less than 2% return rate, so their customers are obviously happy.

3 Keller Heart

Keller Heart Homepage

When I see the Keller Heart site, the first thing that pops into my head is”…Optimus Prime.”

Then, I remind myself that I’m here to uncover the best auto affiliate programs I can find and not talk about Transformers.

Anyway, Keller Heart sells oils and lubricants for industrial, aviation, and automotive use—we’re talking 55-gallon drums of the stuff.

This means that their products are targeted at auto dealers, shipping companies, or any business that maintains a fleet of vehicles.

Selling to businesses via a niche website might seem daunting, but it’s not.

Remember that 95% of other affiliates will probably avoid this program because it seems “hard.”

That puts you in the 5% willing to do the work.

Keller Heart pays you 10% of every referred sale you send their way via affiliate links.

So, based on an average order value of $580, you can expect to make $58 for every purchase from them.

That kind of money adds up very quickly.

This is a pretty niche affiliate program, but there are stacks of potential in there for affiliates who can work these offers into direct or tangential markets.

4 Torque Detail

Torque Detail Homapage

Car and truck owners take detailing their rides pretty seriously, and that’s on a good day.

Entire afternoons of free time are given up to washing, waxing, and polishing their pride and joy.

Torque Detail sells a range of automotive care products created by a guy called Frank Mitchell, who spent 30 years running his own detailing business.

Frank has formulated each of the Torque Detail solutions based on his decades of experience.

For the end-user, they get a glass-like finish and the promise that they’ll never need to wax their car or truck again.

The funny thing about detailing fanatics is they’ll invest just as much time polishing the family saloon as they would a Ferrari.

Just show them what works, and they’ll buy it.

Affiliates are paid 15% per sale, plus you’re provided with a 20% off coupon.

The coupon is a handy way for you to drum up some sales while building trust with your audience.

It’s also a nice touch considering many affiliate programs on other networks seem to have an aversion to coupons these days.

5 Tire Rack

Tire Rack Homepage

Tire Rack started with the dream of one man – an immigrant named Peter Veldman.

What started out as just an idea and a passion for selling tires in 1979, has grown into a “family” business with 650 employees.

This is a company with instant brand recognition, plus they have a reputation for only stocking products they know and trust.

They even went as far as building their own test track, so the product advice you get from them is impartial.

Then you can factor in their in-house expertise, which makes buying tires, wheels, brakes, suspension, lighting parts, and accessories a breeze.

Visitors can also refer to their ‘Tire Decision Guide,’ which helps them find the tires they need in two minutes or less.

Affiliates tend to chase tech or financial products when looking for those big paydays.

But Tire Rack is a perfect example of how much money you can make in other niches. They have a very healthy EPC, and affiliate publishers get a 6% cut of all sales.

6 RevZilla

Revzilla Homepage

RevZilla is one of the most popular suppliers of motorcycle clothing, helmets, parts, and accessories in the United States.

And it’s not just that they have a catchy domain name, although that helps.

It’s because they know what they’re talking about, and their YouTube channel is proof of that.

6,500+ videos help set them apart from the competition because you can see they’re authentic.

You see, bikers hate being sold to by somebody who doesn’t know to call it a lid and not a “helmet.”

We’re kinda funny like that.

The EPC for this program is way below what we’d typically accept, but we looked at two other factors:

  • Network Earnings
  • Brand reputation

Basically, you’re not going to have to try to sell very hard when promoting RevZilla.

They’ve spent the last decade or so doing all the hard work for you.

7 LASFIT

Lasfit Homepage

LASFIT is probably the newest company in this roundup because it’s only been in operation since 2015.

They obviously spotted a gap in the market for LED lights and bulbs for cars and trucks and just went for it.

And they’re not just a reseller – they actually manufacture the LED lighting products they sell.

In addition to their “stock” items, they’re also happy to create a custom LED lighting system for you to modify your car or truck to your taste.

So, they’re an interesting program to promote to car, truck, and SUV owners who want to add some bling to their rides.

The LASFIT affiliate program operates on a “sell more, make more” approach – they have a sliding commission rate of between 6% and 9% depending on how well you perform.

Auto lighting is an exciting sub-niche to look into – there’s still space to compete there.

8 Car Covers

Car Covers Homepage

Well, you’re not going to be exactly shocked when you find out that CarCovers.com sells…well…covers for cars, trucks, and SUVs.

They’re also kind enough to stock covers for motorcycles – mind you, we forget to use them half the time.

CarCovers.com can meet all your indoor and outdoor cover needs, stocking items for 150,000 different cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles.

Each product comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, so that gives you some leverage with your audience.

Their site looks pretty dated, but that doesn’t seem to bother their hundreds of thousands of existing customers.

This is an ideal add-on program for an automotive or biker site.

The 10% commission rate is pretty generous, and they seem to have no returns, although that seems unlikely.

They also have an average order value of $172, so that means every referred sale should be worth at least $17 to you.

9 Vegas Carts

Vegas Carts Homepage

This might sound like a weird question, but is your golf cart just far too sedate for your liking?

Well, Vegas Carts has the solution to your 9hp woes in the form of an engine upgrade kit.

You can take your standard EZGO, ClubCar, or Yamaha golf cart, slot in a Vegas Carts upgrade, and experience 25hp.

The team behind Vegas Carts has 70 years of industry experience, so they know what they’re doing.

Their upgrade kits are only available for gas-powered golf carts, so electric cart owners are out of luck.

Gas cart owners are in for a real treat though.

They also ship overseas, so non-US customers don’t have to miss out on the fun.

Vegas Carts offers easy payment options, so that’s one conversion hurdle out of your way.

Affiliates get a 7.5% cut of each sale, which is slightly below average. But considering that some kits cost $1,699, you could potentially pocket $127 for a single sale.

Not bad at all.

10 Pep Boys

Pep Boys Homepage

Pep Boys is something of a national institution in the United States.

Part of that is due to the fact they’ve been in business since 1933, but also because they operate more than 800 stores nationwide.

The Pep Boys came into being because four ex-navy friends spotted an emerging market – people were buying mass-produced automobiles.

Why do I feel like C. Montgomery Burns when I write the word “automobile”?

Probably because I wanted to send an essential parcel to Siam by autogyro, but couldn’t find one.

Anyway, the Pep Boys realized that people would need their cars serviced and, ideally, be able to buy their car accessories in the same store.

And that’s what you’ll find in their stores – everything from A-Z that a car owner might need, plus a service bay or two if you need their help.

Their affiliate program is a little confusing because you’ll see commission percentages, dollar amounts, and payment per lead all mentioned at the same time.

So let’s break it down for you.

Any referred sales from their online store pay you up to 3%, but you only get 2% for tire sales.

You also earn a flat $2 for every service appointment booked with them, and then $3 for every completed appointment.

  • URL: Pep Boys affiliate program
  • Commission rate: 2% – 3% per sale (check $ payouts  – leads?)
  • EPC: $31.22
  • Cookie duration: 30 days

11 Goodyear Tires

Goodyear Tires Homepage

Goodyear tires don’t need an introduction, so we’re not going to try.

Long story short, they’ve been around for 100 years.

They’ve been the preferred tires for some of the fastest cars on Earth, including NASCAR.

And they were also the people behind the tires for the lunar rover used during the Apollo missions.

Well, that tire was made out of wire mesh and not rubber, but we’ll let that slide.

So, everyone knows who Goodyear is, and what they do.

Now let’s take a look at their affiliate program.

Affiliates are paid $6 for any purchases made from the Goodyear.com site, or alternatively, you can make $6 for every completed service appointment you send their way.

We should also point out that Goodyear is one of a handful of automotive programs on Commission Junction with a high network earnings score.

12 Edmunds

Edmunds Homepage

Since the 1960s, Edmunds has been the go-to source for impartial information on buying a new or used car, as well as car reviews.

If you’re from the UK, think AutoTrader, but on a bigger scale.

They then took decades of data and migrated the whole lot to their online presence.

But they’ve also added some new and neat features, like their car appraisal tool.

This allows you to get a pretty precise estimate of what a car is worth.

What’s kept Edmunds relevant is that they talk to their audience in a language they understand instead of using 100% sales jargon.

And that’s why their fans, readers, and visitors love them.

Generating a “new vehicle lead” is worth $8 in commission to you, while a “used vehicle lead” is worth $5.

They define a lead as a fully completed dealer request form, including valid contact details.

You will get kicked from the program if you try to do something stupid, like generate fake leads.

13 AutoZone

Autozone Homepage

AutoZone is the largest retailer of aftermarket auto parts and interior accessories in the US. It’s a multimillion dollar company with more than 6,000 stores nationwide.

As any high performing affiliate will tell you, that means it has massive brand awareness. In turn, that means it’s comparatively easy to persuade readers to click your text links and buy from AutoZone.

So far so good. But how does AutoZone stack up against the very best automotive affiliate programs?

Actually, pretty well. That 3% commission rate might not sound like anything to write home about, but given the relatively high price of replacement parts, interior accessories, and various other products, you can make decent money online here.

You’ll also have access to plenty of marketing materials, including text links, banners, and fresh promotional offers, to help drive sales.

14 AutoBarn

Autobarn Homepage

AutoBarn might not have the world’s most professional-looking website, but it has a fantastic pedigree in the auto industry, having launched in 1957.

Its Port Washington warehouse stocks more than 35,000 name-brand car parts and accessories, making AutoBarn one of the largest automotive retailers and wholesalers in New York.

And its automotive affiliate program is no joke, either. Run through Commission Junction, it pays a comparatively generous 8% commission per sale and provides everything affiliate websites need to start driving sales—think banners, text links, and more.

It also has a pretty low payment threshold of just $25, so you don’t need to rack up a ton of commission before you can cash out your earnings.

The only small downside is the cookie window, which is 10 days, among the shortest of all the automotive affiliate programs we’ve examined.

15 AutoAnything

Buyautoparts Homepage

BuyAutoParts.com specializes in replacement parts. It carries more than 200,000 quality auto parts, from steering racks and suspension parts to turbochargers and gearboxes.

As its affiliate program landing page rightly points out, this is a pretty attractive niche to be part of. After all, people need to drive their cars, and they need auto parts to keep them on the road. In other words, there’ll always be a market for the stuff it sells.

The website boasts an average order value north of $250. With commission rates of 5% – 8% per sale, there’s plenty of earning potential here — and you’ll get regular access to new marketing materials to drive performance.

What’s more, while the seven-day cookie window doesn’t sound particularly appealing, BuyAutoParts.com says 95% of customers complete their purchase in just three days.

16 Avis

Avis Homepage

Avis is one of the big players in the car rental industry, with 5,500 locations spread across more than 165 countries. If you need to hire a car in New Caledonia, the Reunion Islands, or Burkina Faso, you can do it with Avis.

Interestingly (to me, at least), it was the first brand to rent cars from airport locations, which is basically a license to print money. So it’s no surprise Avis has grown into a multi million dollar company today.

Want a slice of the pie? The Avis automotive affiliate program pays new members a commission of up to 4%, based on rental time and mileage.

It also runs a performance incentive, with better rates available for high performing affiliate marketers — meaning the more referrals you drive, the higher your commissions will climb.

17 Advance Auto Parts

Advanced Auto Parts Homepage

Advance Auto Parts is another major American auto parts retailer, with more than 6,000 stores in 40 states and annual sales of $5 billion. From replacement parts and interior accessories to oils and fluids, you’ll find it at Advance Auto Parts.

As an auto industry affiliate, it always helps to have a “hook” —some reason to compel people to buy right now. So it helps that Advance Auto Parts offers free shipping on all orders over $35, which is helpfully less than the site’s average order value.

Customers can buy online and collect from their nearest store in 30 minutes or less, which is by far the company’s most popular method of fulfillment.

While a 4% commission rate might not set your pulse racing, remember that many Advance Auto Parts products carry comparatively high prices, making this automotive affiliate program well worth considering.

18 Vivid Racing

Vivid Racing Homepage

Do you (and your audience) feel the need… the need for speed? Then Vivid Racing could have the ideal automotive affiliate program for you.

Founded in 2001 with just a $500 investment and a $1,500 loan, Vivid Racing has since become something of a household name in the automotive performance gear market. It has a global clientele and features in every industry magazine.

But Vivid Racing is much more than an industry leader with an interesting backstory — it’s got one of the best automotive affiliate programs in the niche too.

With a catalog of more than one million performance products for cars, trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, and UTVs, it offers plenty of monetization opportunities.

A commission rate of up to 5% on an average order value between $500 and $1,000 also looks pretty attractive.

Conclusion

So, that’s our roundup of the cream of the crop of auto affiliate programs.

Remember, we focus on actual metrics for the affiliate programs we list, not just what a specific program promises, such as “We’re the best program ever!”

The good news is there are dozens of other auto affiliate programs out there for you to promote.

And if you want to learn how “promoting other people’s products for money” works, we have a deal for you.
