Now, here’s a niche that might not have been front of mind for you until right now.

Or for me, if I’m being honest.

The first thing to love about this market is its broad appeal.

People of all ages and from all walks of life buy tickets for theater shows, a ball game, or to see their favorite band live.

This is why this industry is currently worth US$63 billion but will exceed US$85 billion within the next four years.

All that’s stopping you from getting a cut of that action is knowing which affiliate programs to promote.

So we took care of that for you.

Vivid Seats

Vivid Seats takes its brand name for the Latin word for “to live”.

It also reminded me of another company named Vivid…but we won’t go there.

Where we will go though is to what Vivid Seats can offer you in terms of event tickets – all 70,000 of the live events they cater for.

And not just in the United States and Canada, but internationally.

The neat thing here is that Vivid Seats acts as a secure marketplace where people can buy or sell tickets from other users.

Affiliates earn a 4% commission on all purchases by new Vivid customers.

But you also get paid 1% on all purchases made by existing customers.

So this is the ticket affiliate program that keeps on giving.

City Pass

City Pass Homepage Screenshot

Discount event and attraction ticket sites are a dime a dozen.

But City Pass decided to do things a little differently when they started out in 1997.

Instead of trying to offer discount tickets for every attraction, everywhere – they just focus on North America instead.

Each City Pass gives your visitors up to 9 days to enjoy the attractions of a given city, which means they don’t have to rush around trying to see everything in two days.

And they get to enjoy savings of up to 50% off retail/street prices for the tickets they need.

Affiliates promoting this offer will get paid a 6% commission on every sale referred through their affiliate link.

Which averages out to around $8 per transaction, so you get paid by helping other people to save money.

Ticket Network

Ticket Network Homepage Screenshot

Founded in 2002, Ticket Network is another event ticket marketplace in the same vein as several others.

Your visitors basically list whatever tickets they have for sale, and Ticket Network acts as the middleman in the transaction.

They get their cut for protecting everyone through every stage of the buying/selling process.

And they deal with everyone from individual sellers to box office promoters and ticket agencies.

As of the time of writing they hold $5.5 billion in ticket inventory, so they’re bound to have whatever tickets your visitors are looking for.

Affiliates receive a 5% commission on every new customer they refer. And with an average order value of $350, each sale should add $24.50 to your affiliate account.

That’s a lot more than most programs of this type.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not

Ripley's Believe It Or Not Homepage

Ah, Ripley’s Believe It or Not.

If you’re around my age (don’t ask) you’ll have fond memories of the TV show of the same name.

RIP, Jack Palance – you were a total dude.

However, if you’re any younger you’ll probably wonder what this crazy old fool is yammering on about.

In any case, the Ripley’s attraction in Times Square, New York is something most people will want to experience at least once in their lifetime.

The location features 500 different displays, artifacts and works of art spread across 18,000 square feet and 20 galleries.

This is a pretty niche offer, but then that’s what we’re good at – digging up the gems other “experts” completely overlook ☺

This exhibit is open 365 days a year, so there are no seasonal shenanigans to mess with your 10% affiliate commissions.

And considering they have a 22% conversion rate, it will be almost difficult to not make money from any even remotely warm traffic you send to this offer.

Ticket Liquidator

Next up we have Ticket Liquidator, who also provides an event ticket marketplace covering sporting events, theater, and concerts of all sizes.

Thinking about it, what makes these sites so popular is they stop you from being ripped off by people who try to charge ridiculous prices for a ticket, or want to disappear with your money.

Or both.

With Ticket Liquidator, each of their sellers has been thoroughly vetted, and if for some odd reason something does go wrong you’re covered up by their 100% money-back guarantee.

Now to the bit where we talk about how much money you can make.

Ticket Liquidator claims to have an average order value of $350, but as high as $1,000 depending on the ticket being sold.

That means affiliates can be paid anywhere from $21 to $60 commission per sale.

That’s a lot of money for connecting buyer and seller without any real effort on your part.

Grand Canyon West

And now something to cleanse your affiliate palate – a digital sorbet of sorts.

Grand Canyon West.

No, we didn’t know there was a Grand Canyon West either, but apparently it’s better than hanging out at the northern or southern rims of the canyon.

The Grand Canyon itself is amazing at almost a mile deep in places and attracts approximately 5 million visitors every single year.

What makes Grand Canyon West different to other attractions is that you can take in the view from the Skywalk (a glass bridge), take a helicopter and boat tour, go white water rafting, or take your turn on the zip line…if you’re brave enough.

Oddly enough, this is one of the best performing affiliate programs on all of ShareASale – it’s in the top 400 out of thousands.

You’ll get a 5% commission on every sale you make, which averages out to $6.51 per sale.

But their EPC tells us that you can earn in the region of $83 for every 100 visitors you send their way.

ShowTickets

Showtickets Homepage Stats

While most other ticket sites attempt to offer ticket deals covering the entire United States, Show Tickets does the exact opposite.

In fact, they only offer discounted tickets for shows or events in New York, Las Vegas or Orlando.

Does that seem short-sighted?

It’s not – it allows them to develop long-term relationships with venues and booking agencies in each of these cities.

Cities that also happen to be massively popular destinations among tourists.

And that’s why they can advertise event and attraction tickets at up to 50% off regular prices.

Specializing is almost always more profitable than generalizing.

This program pays its affiliates 6% for all New York event tickets, but 8% for Orlando and Vegas tickets.

For some weird, but fortunate reason, each of the CJ event ticket affiliate programs we’ve featured so far has very strong ‘Network Earnings’ metrics, and Show Tickets is no exception.

And that’s good news for you.

Headout

Headout Homepage Screenshot

Headout is a plucky newcomer to the event and attraction ticket game.

They don’t have the reach of some other platforms, but they make up for that with ingenuity.

Your visitors can pick from their “Bestsellers” for a given city, or simply enter the city name and pick from the dozens of available events and attractions.

Right now Headout is available in 22 countries across four continents, including key tourist hubs like Paris, Amsterdam, and New York.

But they are constantly adding new locations and events, so keep an eye on them.

If you’re paying attention you’ll have noticed that this program only offers a 1% commission rate.

But their network/affiliate activity is huge – they’re almost in the top 100 programs on ShareASale.

So, each affiliate commission will only come to $3.83, but they’ll convert 1-in-7 of your visitors into a buying customer.

And that means you can expect lots and lots of $3 commissions.

SeatGeek

Seatgeek Homepage Screenshot

So far, all the event ticket marketplaces have looked and felt very similar.

But SeatGeek offers something that’s just different enough to make it stand out from the crowd.

Firstly, their ‘Deal Score’ system analyzes thousands of available tickets for a given event to find you the absolute most bang for your buck.

Just so you know you’re not paying way above face value for your ticket.

But their interactive stadium seating maps are the extra touch that consumers love – they’ll be able to see exactly where their seats are.

Which is invaluable considering I once booked tickets for a comedy show in Edinburgh and I literally wound up sitting behind a large concrete pole.

Yes, it did take away from the enjoyment of the night.

This affiliate program pays 4% on every referred sale, and with an average order value of $250, every successful referral should be worth $10 to you.

They also have an above-average EPC for this niche, coming in at $24, so there’s potential for long-term affiliate revenue here.

StubHub

Stub Hub Homepage Screenshot

No roundup of ticket affiliate programs could be considered complete without featuring StubHub.

StubHub is pretty much the granddad of all event ticket marketplaces (and affiliate programs) because they’ve been around since 2000.

The site itself offers the same features of every other marketplace so far, and what it lacks in oomph, it more than makes up for with brand appeal.

Everyone knows what StubHub is, and that’s important leverage to have when encouraging your audience to click on your affiliate links.

Something else worth noting is that StubHub was acquired in 2019 by a company called Viagogo, founded by a guy called Eric Baker.

Eric was one of the original entrepreneurs behind StubHub before it was sold to eBay.

So it’s going to be very interesting to see what direction he takes the business in 2020 and beyond.

Affiliates get paid 10% commission for every sale of a ticket in the United States – other countries tend to have lower commission rates.

This is a program to sign up for and keep an eye on because I’m going to predict that StubHub starts doing some very innovative stuff over the next year or so.

Leaving most of their competition far, far behind them.

Over to You

And there you have our list of the 10 best event and attraction ticket affiliate programs out there.

This is a pretty dry subject to cover simply because many of the offers are so similar, so thanks for reading all the way through.

What you’ll have noticed is that selling tickets online is a numbers game because you’re only going to make an average of about $6 per sale.

And that means you need to push high volumes of traffic to these offers if you want to make a full-time income from them.

But you have no idea what this “traffic” is, or why we’d be driving traffic anywhere?

That’s cool – everyone feels like that at the start.

But we’d like to at least try to answer most of the questions you have buzzing around inside your head right now.

So why not take a time out, and check out our free training seminar?

It lasts for just over 2 hours, and there’s a ton of value in there.

Just let us know which email address you’d like us to send your invitation to.
