About Builderall
Builderall is a digital marketing platform and website builder that aims to help people launch their own website in just a few clicks, then monetize it through email marketing.
The idea is to guide potential customers through niche-specific sales funnels toward (hopefully) high-converting sales pages.
At time of writing, the Builderall platform offers more than 40 integrated tools and apps, allowing customers to do everything from creating, selling, and teaching their own online courses, to generating and converting leads via WhatsApp and SMS messaging.
With 100,000+ customers across more than 150 countries, it’s got plenty of brand awareness, and it’s pretty well-rated on platforms like Capterra and G2 (albeit from a relatively low number of reviews).
It’s certainly in an attractive niche, with the global digital marketing software market valued at $56.5 billion in 2021 — a figure that’s expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate of more than 19.1% from 2022 – 2030.
So far, so good.
But how does the Builderall affiliate program work? And, more importantly, is it worth your valuable time?
Let’s find out…
How Does the Builderall Affiliate Program Work
How to Become a Builderall Affiliate
Builderall’s application process is a little different to other affiliate programs.
Most advertisers offer one registration form that asks a few simple questions about who you are, how you attract traffic to your website, and what sort of products you plan to promote.
Builderall, on the other hand, has two registration forms: one for existing Builderall customers, and another for people who’ve never used Builderall before…
That means if you’ve purchased any Builderall plan, currently priced from $16.90 per month, you’ll be automatically approved to join the Builderall affiliate program.
If you don’t have a Builderall account and don’t plan to become a paying customer any time soon (or ever), you’ll need to complete an application form to become a “Builderall Solo Affiliate”.
However, it’s nothing to worry about, and shouldn’t take more than five minutes to fill in:
According to Builderall, applications for solo affiliate status take an average of 30 days to be approved, and you’ll only hear back if your application is successful.
What Are the Builderall Affiliate Commissions
This isn’t just a commission structure; it’s a two-tier affiliate system that offers bounty and referring commissions from direct sales, plus a share of the sales made by affiliates you refer.
That means the affiliate program offers a ton of earning potential — you can see just how much by using the Builderall affiliate calculator at the bottom of its affiliate landing page.
Here’s how it works:
Commission Description | Commission Rate | Recurring or One-Off? |
---|---|---|
Personal sales commission: For every sale you refer, you receive a bounty based on the customer’s first month of payment | 100% of the customer’s first payment | One-off |
Personal sales recurring commissions: Every time your referred customers pay their monthly fees to Builderall, you receive a cut. | 30% of your referred customers’ monthly payments for the life of their accounts | Monthly recurring commissions |
2nd tier recurring payments: When you refer a new affiliate marketer to Builderall, you earn recurring commissions on the sales they generate. | 30% of the commissions earned by affiliates you bring in | Monthly recurring commissions |
In other words, it’s perfectly possible to earn a ton of monthly income from Builderall without actually generating any direct sales yourself!
What Is Builderall’s Cookie Duration?
There’s a standard 30-day cookie window on all Builderall sales.
That means if someone clicks one of your Builderall affiliate links and makes a purchase within 30 days, you’ll qualify for the 100% bounty payment.
And because it’s a two-tier affiliate program, you’ll also earn 30% of their monthly fees for as long as they keep paying for Builderall.
What Are the Builderall Affiliate Payment Methods?
Builderall has partnered with a company called i-payout to handle its commission payments. Unfortunately, i-payout doesn’t offer PayPal as a payment option, which means the only ways to receive your commissions payments are via:
- Bank transfer
- Check
- Withdrawing to your debit or credit card
Commissions on the first month’s payment for any monthly recurring plan are held back for 35 days before being made available for withdrawal, as are any commissions for Builderall affiliates who are yet to earn at least $250 in commissions.
Once you’ve crossed that all-important $250 threshold, any recurring commissions you earn will be accessible after a five-day hold period.
Pros & Cons of the Builderall Affiliate Program
Pros
With 100,000+ customers, Builderall has plenty of online business visibility, which is a big trust factor.
With so many tools (40+ at time of writing including a landing page builder, funnel builder, and more), you can reach a wider target audience than with more “niche” digital marketing tools.
The application process is pretty simple, especially if you’re already a Builderall customer.
Earning potential is huge thanks to the combination of bounty payments, recurring commissions, and second-tier earnings.
Builderall doesn’t care how you drive traffic, which means you can leverage Google Ads, email marketing, Facebook Groups, YouTube videos, or anything else that springs to mind.
Cons
Builderall is in a crowded niche, which means it’s competing with big names like ClickFunnels, LeadPages, and Instapage. That can make for a tough sell.
Following on from the last point, it’s hard to rank for high-volume terms in the digital marketing space, so you’ll need to spend a lot of time on keyword research to find less competitive terms.
With any subscription-based product, it’s harder to close the deal than a simple, ecommerce-based affiliate program.
It’s quite hard to find information about things like cookie duration and commission rates on Builderall’s website, which is always a worry.
Most Builderall plans aren’t especially cheap. Prices start at $16.90 a month, but you’ll need to pay $76.90+ per month to access more advanced tools.
How to Promote Builderall & Make Money
With top Builderall affiliates like James Neville Taylor earning more than $500,000 in a single year from this affiliate program, it’s easy to see why you might want to start promoting Builderall.
However, promoting affiliate products isn’t a license to print money or a get-rich-quick program. If you’re going to sell Builderall and its various affiliate products, you need to be smart about it.
If you’re totally new to the world of affiliate marketing, we’d recommend skipping this section for now and heading straight to our in-depth guide on how to become an affiliate marketer.
But if this isn’t your first rodeo, here are a few quick-and-dirty tips to help you find affiliate success through promoting the Builderall funnel package and other services:
1 Focus On Problems, Not Tools
Builderall offers such a giddying array of tools that it can feel a little overwhelming at first. Should you start promoting its sales funnel builder?
Focus on how it helps users launch high-performing marketing campaigns? Concentrate on the online course creator? Or something else?
In reality, the best place to start is with your target audience. Ask yourself what specific business problems they want to solve, then pitch Builderall as a platform with all the tools to overcome those problems.
For instance, say they have a problem with converting leads into paying customers. In that case, you might mention how a Builderall user can:
- Reach and notify leads, wherever they are, via browser notifications
- Speak to leads on your website through private chat sessions
- Create sales bots to connect with them on Facebook Messenger
2 Grow Your Traffic With Content Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a numbers game. While quality is obviously better than quantity, if you’re targeting relevant keywords, you’re almost certain to drive more sales and make more money if you generate more traffic.
And the best way to drive visitors to your site without investing a bunch of cash in paid advertising is through content marketing.
Specifically, you’ll want to create content that targets high-intent keywords. In the case of Builderall, those might include:
- Best digital marketing tools
- Best digital marketing software
- Best digital marketing platforms
- Best website builder
- ClickFunnels alternatives
Create a separate piece of content targeting each term you identify, then add your Builderall affiliate links to them.
3 Build An Email List
Another tactic to avoid relying on paid traffic is to build your own email marketing list.
That way, every time you publish a new blog post promoting the Builderall service, you can send it straight to your audience’s inboxes. It’s a guaranteed way to get lots of eyes on your content.
Building a mailing list doesn’t need to be complicated. Just embed a simple email capture form on your main blog landing page, on your homepage, and/or within individual blog posts. And include a brief line or two of copy that spells out exactly why people should sign up. Here’s how we do it:
Conclusion: Is the Builderall Affiliate Program Right For You
